Enlisted as Private 603, 11th Light Horse Regiment on 7 Jan 1915, until 18 June 1915. Re-enlisted as Private 4344, 32nd Battalion on 4 Oct 1916 (the same Battalion as his brother, Henry Albert Victoria Peake) until discharged 11 Dec 1919.
Enlisted in the Second World War as Major NX260, in the HQ Australian Base Ordinance Depot 13 Nov 1939 until discharged 1 April 1951.
