Edward was born in Mount Egerton, son of William Arthur Bunn and Isabella McDonald. He was the eldest of 7 children.
He married Nina Northam in 1915. They had one son.
He enlisted on 13 September 1916 and arrived in France on 25 April 1917 and was killed in action on 20 September 2017.
