"THE LATE LANCE-CORPORAL W. H. WHITE.
Lance-Corporal H. W. White enlisted with the 11th Light Horse and was trans- ferred in Egypt to the 9th. He died of wounds on September 16. The eldest son of Mr. H. White, of Light-terrace, Thebarton, he was 39 years of age. Deceased served with the fifth contingent in the South African war. He was a well-known stockman, and was last employed by Messrs.
