The Bishop of Adelaide has received from Chaplain the rev. W. T. Strahan copy of an extract from a letter from Sir Douglas Haig to the Deputy Chaplain-General, dated August 7,1910:— 'That the troops are in such splendid heart and moral and fight without 'counting the cost' is largely attributable to our chaplains, who have so successfully made our men realise what we are fighting for and the justice of our cause.'
