Great Grandfathers Details.
Edward was in the 1st Reinforcements 31st Battalion which saw service mostly in France.
Edward was wounded in action twice & returned to active duty on both occasions.
Edward was also reported missing in Action on the 27/09/1917 to be later identified as a Prisoner of War on the 12/11/1917 interned at Limburg Germany.
Returned to Australia 15 May 1919
