Lieutenant Scarr served with the 5th Field Coy. Australian Engineers.
He was 37 and the son of David and Mary Ann Scarr; husband of Jane Scarr of 118, Mandeville Rd., Enfield Wash, Middlesex, England. Although CWGC state he was born in Romford, his birth was registered in Camberwell, South London.
He has no known grave and is therefore commemorated on the VILLERS-BRETONNEUX MEMORIAL
