Known as Maurice Martin Hayes he was born 10th January 1891 in Logan Village and died 12th October 1952 in Stanthorpe. He is also buried there.
His parents were James and Mary nee McDermott.
Maurice is listed on the Logan Village Honour Roll for WW1 and also on the Museum Honour Roll. He attended Logan Village School.
