Son of Joseph and Emma BURRILL, "Nidderdale", East View Avenue, Leura, New South Wales
"...1714 Private Arthur Burrill, 2nd Battalion. A builder from Leura, New South Wales, prior to enlistment on 28 January 1915, he embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Argyllshire on 10 April 1915 for Gallipoli. Pte Burrill was killed in action between 7 and 14 August 1915 and is buried in the Lone Pine Cemetery. He was aged 21 years." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
