Obituary Mr. S. V Clements
Word has been received that Mr. Sidney Vincent (Tom) Clements, collapsed and died in Sydney on Wednesday morning. The late Mr. Clements was well known on the Clarence, being a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Clements, Southgate. He served in the Great War for four years in the 5th Light Horse Regiment in Egypt, and at the conclusion of the war visited England.
“Tom,” as he was familiarly known among his friends, was of a genial and happy disposition. He was for a number of years in the Department of Child Welfare.
He is survived by a widow and one sister, Miss Ann Margaret Clements, of the Education Department, Sydney. - The Daily Examiner, Grafton, issue dated Saturday August 9, 1941.
