In 1922c Roy married Myra Beatrice McDonald in the Redfern district, NSW. Father of Nena Beverley Jackson nee Glynn-Armtrong

Commenced invalided return to Australia on 8 October 1915 on board HMT Suevic with gunshot wounds to the right shoulder
