Husband of Nora Bawden of 380 Egan Street, Kalgoolie, WA. During 1896 John married Nara Hartogan in Collgardie, WA. Father of John Henry Bawden, Kitty Bawden and Vera Bawden
Commenced return to Australia on 5 April 1919 on board HT Barambah for discharge due to chronic bronchitis and old age
