Son of Thomas O'Connor and Catherine O'Connor nee Vaile of 'Burrungul', Mount Gambier, SA.

Commenced return to Australia from Suez on 11 July 1917 aboard HT Port Sydney disembarking on 22 August 1917 at Melbourne for onward travel to Adelaide.

Medals: 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal
