Biography

Bill enlisted at Liverpool, NSW on 13.1.1915 and assigned to the 2nd Bn, 5th Rein and later transferred to the AA Postal Corps, he embarked from Sydney on 13.4.1915 onboard HMAT A55 Kyarra and returned to Australia onboard HMT Kashmer leaving England on 9.3.1919. Three years after returning to Australia he married & went on to have children.
