Spencer Kittelty
Spencer was born 1894 in Young, New South Wales to Clara Firminger and John Burnett Kittelty.
He attended Barkly Street School in Ballarat and Sunday School at St Trinity Methodist Church.
1915 he was working as an Iron Moulder and enlisted on 13 July 1915 in Ballarat, Victoria.

Department of Mental Hygiene.
In pursuance of the provisions contained in the Public Service Act 1928 and in the Lunacy Acts, the Permanent Head of the Department having requested that vacancies which have occurred should be filled, and the Director of Mental Hygiene having certified that appointments are required, that there are no persons available and fit in the Public Service to be promoted or transferred to fill the vacant offices, and that the persons named hereunder are entitled, under the provisions of the Public Service Act 1928, to be appointed to fill such vacancies on probation for twelve months, and to take effect from the date mentioned in each case, that is to say:- Attendant, Grade III, Spencer Franics Kittelty 31st August 1939
