Son of Ansell Capp and Elizabeth Capp nee Colahan of Ballarat, Victoria. Brother of John Capp who returned to Australia in 1919 having served with the 29th and 32nd Battalions, James Capp and Ruth Auld nee Capp who was given as next of kin
