He married Ruby Mary BURGESS in Sydney in 1918

1. Leo Sidney DRINKWATER - Captain with 13th Infantry Battalion - Killed in Action 7th August, 1916

2. Bertie Leslie DRINKWATER (SN 2912) 31st Infantry Battalion - awarded a Military Medal
