Son of William A. Cooper and Mary Jane Cooper of 'Springfield', Railway Road, Cottesloe, WA formerly of Norfolk, England. Brother of Allen Dixon Cooper who returned to Australia on 3 March 1919 having served with the the 4th Divisional Column
