Biography contributed by Faithe Jones

Son of Alfred and Isabella MEREDITH of Wandsworth Common, England; husband of Mrs Dorothy MEREDITH, 103 11th Street, Mildura, Victoria

MEREDITH--In loving memory of Reginald Stanley Meredith, beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Meredith, Wandsworth common, England, and loving husband of Dorothy, also loving father of little  everard;. who gave his life for the Empire in France, May 29, 1917.

There was a chain of happiness and love
When we were all together;
But now that chain is broken,
One of the main links gone for ever.
A husband's worth cannot be told,
But his memory dear I will always hold,
And God will clasp the broken chain
Closer when we meet again.
There is one link death cannot sever;
Love's remembrance lasts for ever.
-Inserted by his loving wife, Dorothy.

MEREDITH-In loving memory of our dear son-in-law, Private Reg. Meredith, killed in action somewhere in France, May 29th, 1917.
Duty called him; he was there
To do his bit and take his share.
His heart was good, his spirit brave,
His resting place a hero's grave.
Reg was always happy and cheerful,
With a heart that knew no fear.
He stood to face life's battle
For those he loved so dear.
Though our hearts are full of sorrow
And our eyes are dim with tears.
There is one thing we are proud of
He sent as a volunteer.

MEREDITH-In loving memory of Reginald Stanley Meredith, beloved husband of Dorothy and loving father of Everard, who gave his life for the Empire in France, May 29th, 1917.

To-day brings back our memory fresh
Of one we loved who is laid to rest;
And those that think of him to-day
Are those that loved him best.
A better husband never lived,
Not one more true and kind,
His equal in this world
Is very hard to find.
-Inserted by his loving wife and son.

MEREDITH - In sad and loving memory of our son-in-law, Private R. S. Meredith, 38th Battalion, killed in France, 29th May, 1917.

Somewhere in France he is lying,
Killed by a passing shell;
Buried by his comrades
And mates that loved him well.
Sweet is the word remembrance.
As these few lines will show
You are remembered in our home
As days they come and go.
- Inserted by E. and A. James.
