Harry Dohnt was awarded a Life Membership in 1956 from the RSL. He joined the RSL in 1919 and he transferred to St Peters 1929. His work for the RSl included serving St Peters as committeeman for 10 years, vice president for five years and was president in 1956. He was a member of the sub branches hospital visitors. Harry was a delegate for a number of Sub Branch Conferences. He also served as president of the Light Horser Old Comrades Association. Harry also worked for many charities in the local area of St Peters.
