Edward Jack Solomon was a Private in the 10th Australian Infantry Battalion during the First World War (1914-1918). He enlisted on September 18, 1914, and later returned to Australia on July 21, 1917. 

Solomon returned to Australia on July 21, 1917.

He passed away on September 3, 1923, while a patient at Parkside Mental Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia. He was buried at West Terrace Cemetery in Adelaide
