"...404 Private Percy Valentine Westcott, 5th Battalion who was a 24 year old driver from Prahran, Victoria when he enlisted and embarked for overseas with C Company from Melbourne on 21 October 1914 aboard HMAT Orvieto. While serving at Gallipoli, he was evacuated for medical treatment and then returned to Australia and was discharged with enteric fever (typhoid). He later re-enlisted (service number 11954) and embarked for overseas the second time with the 3rd Divisional Supply Company, Mechanical Transport from Melbourne on 5 June 1916 aboard HMAT Afric.
