Ernest Peters

Ernest Peters was born in Cooktown on 16th August 1894. His father was Claus Frederick Peters (born 1847 in Wesselburen, Germany) and his mother was Wilhelmina Albertina Klabunda (born 1862 in Damen, Germany). His parents were married in Cooktown in November 1883 (his mother arriving in Australia in 1882).

Ernest was their 6th child and had 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
