FATAL FALL FROM A TRAM.
The Adelaide Hospital authorities reported to the Adelaide Watchhouse on Wednesday evening that Mr. Percy Anderson, a tram conductor, residing at First avenue, Nailsworth, fell from a moving tram car in Wakefield street on Wednesday afternoon. He was conveyed to the Adelaide Hospital in an unconscious condition, suffering from injuries to the head. It was later reported that the man had died
at 7.45 o'clock.

A COMPENSATION CASE.
An application for the allotment of compensation was heard by Mr. Commissioner Mitchell in the Local Court on Thursday. Mrs. Gwinnutt Audrey Anderson, of Sefton Park, on behalf of herself and her  three children, asked his Honor to determine how\. £400 should be allocated. The Municipal Tramways Trust had agreed to pay the money under the provisions of the Workmen's Compensation Act in respect to the death of Percy St. John .Anderson, husband of the applicant, wiho died on June 10. last, as the result of injuries sustained in the course of his duties as a tram conductor. Mr. D. B. Ross
appeared for the applicant, and Mr. T, S. O'Halloran, for the Trust. Counsel explained that the Trust mere prepared to pay over £400 on an order being made by his Honor fixing the allocation of the  amount between the widow and three children of the deceased.  His Honor ordered that, on the applicant under taking to pay to the Public Trustee two-thirds of the amount for which her husband was insured (and which goes to the children), the £400 to be paid by the Tramways Trust should he also paid to the Public Trustee, end that Mas. Anderson be allowed £3 a week, being one-third on behalf of  the applicant, and two-thirds on behalf of the children.
