OBITUARY

MR. P. H. RAKE

The death occurred at Con cord Military Hospital yesterday morning of Percy Harold Rake, of 14 Norman Street, Wagga, at the age of 56 years. Mr. Rake who was a returned soldier of World War I, is survived by his

wife; three daughters, Mrs. L. Goldsworth (Lorna), of Leon gatha (V.), Miss Gwen Rake, of Wagga, and Mrs. A. Maloney (June), of Wagga; one sister, Mrs. Rowe, of Melbourne, three, brothers, Messrs. William, Les lie and Robert Rake, all of Sydney. Mr. Rake was treasurer of i the Wagga City Band for about 10 years and was well-known throughout the building trade. He will be well remembered as one of the 'Kangaroos' who marched from Wagga and rein forced the 55th Btn. of the 1st A.LF. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning, the cortege leaving the Wagga Methodist Church after a service to start at 11 o'clock, far the Wagga Cemetery.
