Hicks Family connection
I was recently attending a Carthew (my maternal Grandmothers) family reunion in Fielding New Zealand and noticed one of the ANZAC Day representative grave markers in the Fielding Square was for a W A HICKS 777 and as my fraternal Grandfather Edward Hicks was born in Fielding and had 6 Brothers I was guessing Wilfred would be a blood relative. Now I have some additional information from this site I can research deeper to have this verified.
