Nolan Dyson WASTNEY was born in 1895 in Wellington , New Zealand
His parents were Ernest & Lucy WASTNEY
He enlisted on 7th September 1915 with the 1st Battalion
Unit embarked from Sydney on HMAT Mooltan on 11th December 1915
He was killed in action on 9th April, 1917 in France - no known grave
Commemorated in the Australian National Memorial, Villers Bretonneux, France and also in the Nelson College Roll of Honour in New Zealand
He was awarded the British War Medal & Victory medal
