Crookwell is a small town located in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia, in the Upper Lachlan Shire.The nearest major centre is the city of Goulburn which is about a half-hour drive to the south-east of the town. 
 
Next of kin-Father, Michael Heneberry, Dunmore, County Kilkenny, Ireland.

He married Martha Needham on 17th July 1917 at St Coleman’s Catholic Church in Conahy  in the County of Kilkenny
Enlistment date-7 March 1916

Unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A60 Aeneas on 30 September 1916-he was then 33.

Discharged 3 March 1919 in London-medically unfit for further service-awarded Silver War Badge-shell concussion and GSW to thigh and leg
