Biography

George Godfrey Manning born in 1890 in Walhalla, Victoria, Australia, to parents John Francis Manning (b.1852) and Sophia Manning (nee Johns b.1867). His brothers and sisters were: Katherine (b.1886), William (b.1887), John Dalton (b.1891), Leo Neal (b.1899), Albert Maurice (b.1902), Gerald Phillip (b.1905), Patrick Francis (b.1908), and Margaret Marion (b.1911). RIP (from your nephew John Francis Manning (b.1946) of Woodend, great-niece Joanne Elizabeth Manning (b.1973), and all the Manning families)
