Son of Joseph Francis Usher and Margaret Usher nee Kidd of Ballarat, Victoria

Marital status given at enlistment was given as widower his wife Joan Helen Usher nee Sudgen who he married in 1907c died in 1915c

Next of kin given as his son Stanley Neville Usher of Corner Leopold Street and St Kilda Road, South Melbourne, Victoria.

While en route to the Western Front he disembarked on 24 September 1917 at Durban the transhipped aboard HT Caronia on 7 November 1917 for India via Bombay.

Commenced return to Australia via Bombay on 15 January 1919 aboard SS Themistocles disembarking on 5 February 1919 at Sydney for onward travel to Melbourne.

During 1919c Noble married Elsie Carr in Victoria
