54th Battalion, 3rd Reinforcement, .Australian Infantry, A.I.F.

Son of William and Florence Sadleir of 70 Sandford Road, Dublin, Ireland . His brother Private William Sadleir, Service Number 1144, fell in France whilst serving with "A" Squadron, South Irish Horse.
