Thomas Lowbridge YOUNG was born in Bootle, Liverpool, England in 1884

His parents were Thomas Frederick YOUNG & Mary Ellen BAKER

He enlisted in Perth, Western Australia on 26th July, 1915 and embarked with the 28th Infantry Battalion, 4th reinforcements on 1st October, 1915 from Fremantle, WA on the HMAT Hororata

Thomas died of wounds in France on 2nd January, 1917 and is buried in the Heilly Station Cemetery

His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial
