Ormond Gillespie TUNKS was born in Redfern, Sydney on 9th February, 1895

His parents were Sydney Charles TUNKS & Emma Rachel POPE

He married Ella May Elizabeth COLLINS in St James Church in King St. Sydney in 1920

He enlisted on 3rd April, 1918 and embarked from Sydney on 17th July, 1918 on the ship HMAT Borda & returned to Australia and was discharged on 23rd November, 1919

Ormond died in Sydney on 8th September, 1980 and is buried in the Macquarie Park Cemetery, North Ryde, Sydney
