20 Jul 1916: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 893, 31st Infantry Battalion, Fromelles (Fleurbaix), SW to left shoulder and leg. Evacuated to UK. Rejoined unit 30 September 1916.
18 Jan 1917: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 893, 31st Infantry Battalion, GSW to left shoulder and neck sustained in front line at Needle Trench. Evacuated to 1st Australian General Hospital at Rouen however died of wounds (and tetanus) on 1 February 1917.
