Personal Stories
Harold Osborne.
Harold Osborne, son of Daintree pioneer Frank Osborne, had been an overseer on a coconut plantation on Rossel Island when he came back to Australia to enlist. He died of broncho-pneumonia on 20 May 1915 at Liverpool Camp Hospital, Sydney, while in training with the 17th Battalion.
