Enlisted and Served under alias  Albert John Adams 

 In May 1921 he signed a Statuary Declaration stating that he had enlisted under the name of Albert John Adams and that his correct name was in fact Carl Aldoph Behrendt

Son of Heinrich John Behrendt and nee Salter Ada Behrendt of 7 Cecil Street, Prahran, Victoria

During 1918 Carl married Hilda Madeline Drummond in Victoria

Commenced return to Australia on 6 June 1918
