When Eric Burnham Tame was born in 1887 in Essendon, Victoria, his father, Charles, was 36 and his mother, Isabella, was 38. He married Marguerite St Clair (Daisy) Moore in 1916 in Victoria. They had one child during their marriage. He died on 7 November 1969 in Armadale, Victoria, at the age of 82.
