Son of William Coffey and Catherine L. Burr formerly  Coffey of Captain's Flat, NSW later of Blaxcell Street, Granville, NSW

Brother of John Joseph Coffey who returned to Australia on 8 February 1919 having served with the 15th Battalion

Commenced return to Australia on 14 January 1919 aboard HT City of York disembarking on the 27 February 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Brisbane

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal
