Eugene was born 23rd July 1888 in Woodhill to Owen and Sarah nee Gilhool.
Along with his Brother John they are listed in the book by David Mason "The Soldiers & Nurses of the Beaudesert District WW1 (1914-1919)"
He is listed on the Honour Roll of the Logan Village Museum as he is descended from Pioneers of the District.
