Mrs. L. Stopford, of Armidale, has received word from her son, Mr. Grosvenor F. Stopford, who is and old Armidale boy, and who is at present in England, Where he has been studying for the Church, that he has been ordained by the Bishop of Richmond in Ripon Cathedral, after completing his studies at Durahm and Oxford Universities. Mr. Stopford has also been through a course of military training under the English Territorial system, and has accepted a commission as Lieutenant. Now that he has been ordained he will not go for service abroad, but takes up work at Bradford in Yorkshire, for the present.

An Armidale boy who has seen considerable active service with the Imperial Forces in France is Captain Chaplain Grosvenor F. Stopford, who
was on furlough in England when the mail left. Captain Stopford has been at the front for 14 months.
