Private Thomas Dunn was born at Ballymena, Co. Antrim, Ireland in 1871. He came to Australia around 1895 & enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force (A.I.F.) on 9th May, 1916. He arrived in England for further training with 44th Battalion on 12th December, 1916.
Private Dunn was admitted to Fargo Military Hospital, Wiltshire on 30th December, 1916 with influenza. He died at 4 pm on 7th February, 1917 from Broncho Pneumonia.

There were 5 AIF SOLDIERS that WERE BURIED in Durrington Cemetery between 12th & 14th February, 1917. Durrington Cemetery, Wiltshire contains 141 Australian WW1 Soldiers.
