Husband of Susanna Germaine Doorsselaer nee Staelons of  Moore Park Road, Fulham, England formerly of  West Vlaanderen, Belgium. Albert and Susanna married on 16 December 1918 in the Register Office, Fulham, England.  L. Liverside and E.J. Hott officiiated.

Commenced return to Australia on 7 November 1919 aboard HT Marathon disembarking on 1 January 1920
