Thomas Nolan
Thomas had three older sisters, Maria, Margaret and Ray. His mother died from TB when the oldest sister Maria was just 5 years old. The youngsters were raised by their Grandmother and often had to beg for food at the local Catholic church. Thomas was 26 years of age when he died in WW1.

Tom Nolan's name is not displayed on the Adelaide National War Memorial because he enlisted interstate and thus his data was not included at the time of the Memorial's creation.
