Charles was the son of Charles Angwin and Adelaide Laura Angwin nee Thompson.
World War 1 Service - 27.10.1915: Involvement Sapper, 1692, 1st Signal Company Engineers. Served in France. 8.4.1919: Discharged. Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal.
Married in 1926 to Effie Hazel Marie Gale.
