Add my storyBiography contributed by Faithe Jones
He was a Williamstown lad, who was unfortunate enough to be wounded 3 times. His first year of service seems incident free but he was first shot in the shoulder in April 1917 then in the arm and leg causing a compound fracture of the fibula in February 1918 and finally the right hand causing the amputation of his ring finger in August 1918.
He was returned to Australia in December, 1918 and given a medical discharge.
