Personal Stories
Philip Hudson and Shrine of Remembrance
Philip Burgoyne Hudson was the older brother of Benjamin Roy Burgoyne Hudson and John Burgoyne Hudson, who both died in WW1. Philip, my maternal grandfather, was so moved by the awfulness of WW1 and the deaths of his two brothers that he, with James Wardrop, designed the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne
