James Henry Rogers was born approximately sometime around 1894 in the suburb of Eden Hills, Adelaide where he would go to primary school in Norwood. He was born to J.T Rogers and his mother went as Ellen Jeffery. He had served in Cadets before war, leaving him with former experience. He lived in Eden hills for his whole childhood until September of 1915, in which he would embark to fight in France. After he had enlisted to the great war, James Henry Rogers would embark on the HMAT, Star of England to fight in European countries. He passed away in April of 1943, at the tender old age of 49. He was buried at Karrakata Cemetery, Western Australia.
