Brother of Gilbert Hogg died on 29 May 1917 of wounds received at Messines and was buried in the Trois Arbres Cemtery, Steenwerck, France. Plot 1, Row L, Grave 22

Commenced return to Australia on 22 May 1919 aboard HT Durham disembarking on 21 July 1919
