Biography

"...3199 Private Charles Henry Roberts, 25th Battalion, of Gympie, Qld... A draper's assistant prior to enlisting in October 1915, Pte Roberts embarked from Brisbane with the 7th Reinforcements aboard HMAT Itonus (A50) on 30 December 1915. He was killed in action on 20 September 1917 at the battle of Menin Road, Ypres, Belgium. Pte Roberts was 27 years of age." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
