Clarence was born in Beenleigh 30th Sept 1894 to Clifford and Charlotte Neate nee Franklin.
He is listed on the Museum Honour Roll as his family were both Tamborine and Logan Village Pioneer families.
On Armistice Day 1918 he was still listed as being in France.
He married twice Ellen Annie Dorothy nee Price 1895-1927 and Hilda nee Tate 1900-1984.
