25 Apr 1915: Involvement AIF WW1, Private, 380, 5th Infantry Battalion, ANZAC / Gallipoli, ANZAC landing, 2nd wave. His landing boat was sunk, so he and Private Alexander swam ashore.
4 May 1915: Involvement AIF WW1, Private, 380, 25th Infantry Battalion, ANZAC / Gallipoli, While taking observations at Gaba Tele, received a sniper's bullet, lived for about an hour. Private G.L.Mouldey wrote of his final words "Tell Mother I did my duty."
